Car, house, jewelry, cash, heavy investment on marriage food and rituals, late night wedding functions, heavy gifts for almost every relative of boy, plus monthly income of girl is she's earning. House appliances like wood furniture, bed, crockery, blankets, utensils, tv, cd player, music system, computer, lap tops, etc etc come under this "khushi se". We have to stop this concept of self deception. Parents of a girl get scared and blackmailed as the marriage day comes near. They start borrowing money, take a heavy interest loan so that their daughter doesn't get taunted by in laws. We have to break this social stereotype. Mean people would always taunt your daughter even if you give a Taj Mahal in dowry.
