Old: Absence makes heart grow fonder.

New: Absence of a stupid person makes heart grow fonder.

Old: Actions speak louder than words.

New: Actions do not speak at all as compared to words. (Our politicians)

Old: Advice is cheap

New: Advice is cheap so, be the first one to offer it.

Old: All good things come to those who wait.

New: All bad things come to those who wait.

Old: An empty purse frightens away friends.

New: An empty purse frightens away friends, so make their purses empty first.

Old: Any time means no time

New: Any time means every time (for us).

Old: A bad workman blames his tools

New: A bad workman not only blames his tools, but other workmen also. (Our politicians)

Old: A leopard cannot change his spots.

New: A leopard cannot change his spots, but can change skin to cheat people.

Old: Beauty is in the eye of beholder.

New: Beauty is in the eye of beholder, only if he doesn’t suffer from short-sightedness or long-sightedness.

Old: First come, first served

New: First come, first served (Sugar, Flour and CNG)

New: Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Old: Never put off till tomorrow, what can be done today.

New: Never put off till tomorrow, Put it to next week what can be done today.
