It has always been quite unconventional to use peach and orange family colors for decorating home. Mostly people use white, beige, brown, blue or a combination of colors for decorating home. The first experimental touch I tried by using a combination of peach and some pink colors. The speculation wasn’t good, but it looked awesome when all places and rooms were decorated with peach shades. Only I used different mixings and tones for different rooms. For example, if I was using peach and pink in drawing room, I used peach with saffron for the lounge. The color family was the same, but different schemes were used. I liked to share some useful tips regarding home decoration:
1. Never make the place stuffed heavily with furniture.
2. A small place can be decorated with small equipment, for example, instead of keeping a bigger sofa, you can keep a small chest of drawers or long table.
3. Mirrors add beauty to home, and specially placed in right alignment above some chest of drawers.
4. Flower arrangements add glamour to the place, with some candles inserted or used in arrangements.
5. Walls are best with paintings and in correct alignment, for example, if a wall is 12 feet broad; it’s advisable to place the painting or wall hanging right in the middle, exact below the bulb.
6. The room should be balanced well: Out of the four corners, if three are stuffed with heavy furniture, and one left without any furniture, destroys the visual balancing.
7. Things like heavy sofas and heavy cup boards, that occupy huge space, should be placed aside, not in the way.
8. Some dry flowers petals add fragrance and color to the living rooms. A lot of these fragmented are available in market. Chinese ones are the best to use.
9. Kids’ rooms need much attention and should be kept simple.
10. Lamps add more glamour to entrance and side places. They are good when you don’t like putting on a big chandelier or heavy watt bulb. Lamps should always have a low power bulb.
