“Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.” Beauty is something undefined, comparative, invisible at times and could only be felt by heart. Though, different people have different perceptions for beauty and elegance, yet everyone is there to praise it. The standards and measures of attractiveness may vary a little across different cultures, but can’t be too much deviated. The standards of beauty are always embryonic and emerging as based on what a culture and society holds precious. While talking to ‘Vivo’, different celebrities shared their perception and ideas on beauty of women. They also suggested some tips for staying beautiful:
“Some women are born beautiful while some achieve beauty and still others are on good terms with society editors. I read this quote some years ago and it amused me so much. Beauty to me is what touches me, a kind of sparkle in the eye, a naughty smile and a feel good vibe. What is lovely never dies. It passes on into a cool breeze, tingly goose bumps, stardust and moonlit starry nights. It is a feeling, soul connection seen through the naked eye yet felt deep within. It is Quirky, warm, sensual and intellectually stimulating. I am a real natural products buff. A simple effective skin routine for normal to dry skin is cleansing with rose water morning and night. It helps in maintaining clear, blemish free skin as well as gives a clean glow from within the skin layer. Removes dirt, oil, pollution and make up yet is chemical free and safe for all age groups. A drop of pure almond oil is also a quick way to keep skin dewy. It is good for those who have dry skin problem in winters. Let it absorb in the skin before sleeping at night. It keeps skin well hydrated and itch free. A papaya can be mashed well and used as a mask once a month to promote healthy, glowing skin and keep acne at bay. It even balances and maintains a youthful and toned skin. Natural fruits, veggies and loads of water are great for detoxifying the system and keeping healthy and fresh. Stay Beautiful, Be positive and Keep Rocking!”

“I think happiness and health both are important. Happy babies are naturally attracted to happy faces. This is why they would smile back at you. They are natural reflectors of how you feel, and they help define beauty. When we are happy, our brain lets off adrenalin, there is light in our eyes, we walk with vigor, and we have hope for living. When we are down, our eyes are naturally downcast, our face tense up, we slouch and our mind is elsewhere. We tend to wear darker colors too, so as not to bring attention to ourselves. Happy people attract others, while sad people tend to pull people away. Being healthy doesn’t mean that we have to have the figure of Tomb Raider to meet the definition of beauty. Healthy means having good skin, being energetic and having no obvious disability or disfigurement. We all know the ways to achieve healthiness to various degrees--Eating right, sleeping well, exercising regularly and learning to manage stress in an appropriate manner.” Kirran Awais Suhail (Stylist and Chief Executive of Kirran Signature Salon)
“I think beauty lies inside your soul and if a woman is beautiful from her soul she will make every relationship beautiful. Beauty cannot be achieved by spending time in parlors and salons. Inner beauty is forever and cannot be achieved with artificial things.”Shabana Maniar (Host Metro One TV)
“Beauty radiates from within .through contentment, inner confidence, staying centered and work from inside out. Love yourself and "honor the divinity that resides within you".”Shamaeel Ansari (Fashion Designer)
“For me beauty of woman is her intelligence, proportionate body, cleanliness, her sense of humor and feeling of love. These all positive things keep her happy, alive and make her ageless, attractive and a lovable personality.” Naila Saadat (Psychologist & Psycho-therapist)
“If inner soul is neat, your face looks good. I believe beauty can be only enhanced with makeup. A woman is beautiful with her neat looks, sharp brain and skills. They should take care of their skin by cleaning it every day, should exercise, eat proper and take some herbs.” Nazia Malik (Fashion Designer and Host)
“A woman can be lucky enough to be born with good looks but beauty is something she must create. She can do this by balancing her accomplishments, her happiness and her peace of mind, so that she feels comfortable in her own skin. You can recognize a beautiful woman from her virtues.
As for beauty tips, I think actions are the most effective way to communicate your beauty; they announce you before you arrive and linger long after you leave. In my experience, people tend to associate your actions with your face. Overtime, they come to reflect each other.” Armeena Rana K (Model and Actress)

“Beauty is more than skin-deep. Beauty is unique grace, confidence and a shining light that sparkles through the eyes and smile. It's not what you look like; it's what you project.
Beauty is a subjective quality and a universally perfect beauty is an abstract concept.
Mind, spirit and body in all make the whole beauty.

“Eat foods with complex carbohydrates like whole grains, pasta and fruits. They keep your blood sugar level normal so you stay energized, plus they provide you with healthy fiber. Drink as much water as you can.” Beenish Parvez (Stylist and Make-up Artist)
“I truly believe Beauty of a woman comes from within. Firstly you need to feel good, positive & confident about yourself, learn to forgive & forget & have fun. Secondly let your good spirit out; if you are affectionate, caring and passionate towards people it will surely reflect outside and make you beautiful inside out!” Tabassum Mughal (Fashion Director, Tabassum Mughal Haute Couture)
The way she holds herself, the way she walks and the way she talks, most well groomed women look beautiful this way. Women should eat six small meals a day, briskly walk for 30 minutes every day, relax and enjoy the moment. They should stick to vegetables, proteins, brown rice and flour. They can feel the difference in their skin glow and body weight.” Nighat Choadhry (Kathak Dancer & Actress)
“Beauty of a woman lies in her inner strength, the way she faces the world and handles her problems. The way she takes care of herself also becomes a part of her beauty. The way she faces obstacles in her way while smiling also becomes a part of her beauty. Apart from that, she needs to take care of her beauty too. I recommend women to follow a regular regime to maintain their beauty, follow a healthy lifestyle and use natural ways and herbs to maintain their skin and hair. Offer prayers regularly and keep your heart clean. You would always have a glow on your face.“ Amna Karim (Model & Actress)
